But if you must know, it all started with the spam mail and a chain letter. This was back in 2001 where I was looking for job opportunities in the United States of America. One day I open my e-mail and lo and behold there was an e-mail with the subject line how to make $90,000 in 50 days. I was ecstatic! However, I soon learned that the ways of spamming and chain letters was not the best way to get started making money online.

The main purpose of the “making money online” section of Nick Martin.com is to show you exactly what it is that I do every day in order to earn an extra income from the Internet. I will show you every single tool that I use and how I use it. I will create detailed videos that explain and show exactly what it is I do step-by-step.
Adsense Marketing
I will show you exactly all the steps that I take in order to create and promote AdSense optimized websites that generate a small income every single day. These are very niche specific websites, often not more than a few pages, that are designed to help people find what they’re searching for and click on AdSense ads.
Google Adwords
I will also show you how to set up and create Google ad words campaign. This is a little more advanced, but can also be a lot faster. However, Google ad words requires that you have a marketing budget. You cannot start Google ad words for free. Well that’s not entirely true, as you do get a starting capital from Google when you create your first new account.
Tools and Software
I will share with you all the tools and different software I use in order to make money online. These are both free and paid tools. I will give you an honest review of each tool and show you exactly how I use them in order to generate traffic, conversions, clicks and sales.
Income Reports
I will share with you my income reports. These reports will reveal exactly where I’m making money online and how much. Why share reports like these? Mainly is to show you that it is possible to create an extra income online, but also in order for me to report on my activities that created the income.
Expense Reports
I will also share with you my expenses. What does it really take in order to set up and run an online business. Is making money online free? To a certain extent it could be, but you always have to outweigh the time and money that you put into your projects. For me, I value time a lot these days, and therefore I have decided to invest in my making money online activities. I call this an investment because every single piece of information that I have learned making money online, can be used in the future. I think Anthony Robbins says it best when he says “if you learn one thing from your failure it’s a success”.

This is probably the most exciting part. I want to share with you exactly all of the case studies that I’m working on. For me it gives me the opportunity to document and explain every single action that I take in order to create profitable online websites. For you, it should hopefully give an insight into exactly what kind of actions you are required to perform when trying to make money online. The case studies found in this section, will reveal stuff from keyword research, niche research, competition research, content creation, SEO and more. Along the way I will share what has worked and what hasn’t worked for me.
A Word of Warning
I am no guru or Internet marketing expert, and I’m certainly not a self-made millionaire… Yet 
I am just a regular guy from Denmark trying to make an extra income online. Making money online is one of the biggest opportunities we have today. But, there are many pitfalls, shady websites and opportunities, big promises and hype all over the Internet. If you are interested in making money online, then you must know this, and everyone else who tells you otherwise is flat out lying and just want to get your money.
Making money online is difficult and requires a lot of hard work and effort!
I am not going to lie to you, but I have been trying to make money online on and off since 2001, and I still have a long way to go. I have however, learned a hell of a lot trying to make money online which I have been able to use in my current job and for other Internet projects.
